Where Do You Stand

“From that moment on, Pilate wanted to release Jesus. However, the Jewish leaders cried out, saying, “if you release this man, you aren’t a friend of the emperor! Anyone who makes himself out to be a king opposes the emperor.”

John 19:12

In the text Pilate was more worried about losing respect because of what others said about him, rather than standing up for the truth. He had mentioned three times that Jesus was innocent, but yet and still He allowed him to be crucified. As I was watching God is not Dead 2, on the end screen it said “Silence is the enemy of truth. I will make Jesus known.” Boy oh boy, Pilate should’ve heard this.

Don’t let those influences keep you silence when you know the truth. If a time like this hasn’t already come in your life, then will surely come. When standing up for the word of God will cost you. You may lose friends, or you may even lose your job but will trust and believe God to make a way.

If we are influenced by the wrong people that can lead us to making the wrong decisions. Those influences can make us fall into temptations and just go with the flow of society. That’s why I can’t stress it enough, WE HAVE TO PRAY CONSTANTLY AND SEEK GOD. Its so much deception going on right now, and if we not strong in Christ then we can easily be deceived.

Once you are strong in your faith, you won’t be deceived so easily.The devil will have to work extra hard, but my God will work harder. Always stand up for what’s right even if it means standing alone here on earth, but your Heavenly Father will always be with you.

I promise you guys, its okay if you may have to do a cleanse and let some of those bad influences go; rather its family, friends, or things. Don’t be like Pilate, if you know it’s not right then DON’T DO IT STAND UP FOR WHATS RIGHT!! If you don’t ask yourself, will I regret this.

Prayer,

Dear God, I come to you humble as I know how. Lord, sometimes I’m not sure where I stand but God, I come to you, trusting you wholly. Increase my faith, so wherever I lack, I know you will be there. Please give me a discerning spirit, so that when evil comes against me, I will be aware. Lord, I just pray that you will always lead and guide me in the right direction. I thank you and I love you!
