Doing What's Right Even When It Seems Wrong In Society Eyes.

4 You adulterous people![a] Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.- - - James 4:4

17 If anyone, then, knows the good they ought to do and doesn’t do it, it is sin for them.

- James 4:17

So today, I want to ask the question are you that go-to person. Whenever someone needs some information or advice do, they come to you? When they come to you, do you give out information truthfully? Or do you tell that person what they want to hear? We shouldn't be the person that tells them what they want to hear. We should always give advice to the best of ability, whether it's good or bad. If you're constantly telling that person what they want to hear, then they will keep coming back to you. You could be the one to stop that person from making the worst mistake in their life. So be okay with doing or saying the right thing even if it cost you some discomfort here and there.

Well you know, that’s how it is in society today. It has made us think that a lot of stuff is right when it’s really not. That’s why Romans 8 tells us, “Do not conform to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will.”

This leads to my next verse, which is verse 4. James strictly tells us that friendship with the world is an enemy to God. God is a jealous God; he’s not going for any of that other stuff. We have to love God first, and all those other things will be bestowed upon us. However, it’s not meant for us to love. God is love, and when you love him, you’ll never lack.

So, I hope on today we can make up in our minds and hearts to always do what’s right even when it may seem wrong in society eyes.

I would rather have a lifelong friendship with God, rather than this world. You have to know, that this world is going to pass away, BUT GOD's word will remain. He is steadfast and faithful in every way; God can give you so much more than this world has to offer.

As Christians, we have to about our father's business, we are meant to be set apart from this culture and not to blend it. It’s always KingdomshipOverCulture!!! Yes, it not easy because sometimes you may want to fit in. Trust me, I know I’ve been there and felt this way. BUT when you know what He has called you to do and to be then you know, you can’t take part in things that isn't building his kingdom. AND THAT’S JUST THAT ON THAT, CAUSE PERIOD!!!

I’m currently a living testimony on that part. Nope, I'm perfect and will never be. Yes, I slip up every now and then, but I'm human. And no, this doesn't give me a reason to slip up, but I'm constantly reminded that God's grace and mercy is sufficient enough FOR ALL.

Dear God, I thank you so much! Thank you for being a forgiven God. Help me to do whats right even when it seems wrong in the sight of people. Lord, forgive for my seen and unseen sins. Make me whole, Oh God, make me more like you. Help me to stand out, when I want to fit in! Lord, I thank you and I love you.
